Picayune School District students will receive breakfast and lunch meals at no cost as part of the Community Eligibility Provision (CEP) for the 23-24 School Year. The CEP allows schools that predominantly serve low-income children to offer a nutritious school breakfast and lunch meal, at no cost, to all students through the National School Lunch and School Breakfast Programs.

Operation of the Picayune School District’s Child Nutrition Program is administered through the United States Department of Agriculture, the Mississippi Department of Education and the Picayune School District Board. Comprehensive regulations must be followed in order for the school district to be eligible for federal funding. It is our goal to serve well-balanced and nutritious meals to all students, faculty and staff members.
