The Picayune School District is seeking bids to purchase cabling, firewall, switches, UPSs, and wireless access points to make all schools campuses Wi-Fi accessible. Vendors shall use this Excel spreadsheet to complete their response.
The McKinney-Vento Act provides specific rights for homeless students.
These rights include waiving certain requirements, such as proof of residency,
when students are enrolling and allowing categorical eligibility for certain
services, such as free lunch.

At its regularly scheduled meeting on Tuesday, February 27, 2024, the Picayune School District Board of Trustees approved the 2024-2025 school calendar.
Now, your child can receive health care at school free of charge.

The PSD would like to remind all parents to register their children online if possible. Returning students may upload their current proofs of residency online without coming to the school. If you are unable to upload your documents, you must report to your child’s school to provide documents in order to complete the registration process.
Students new to the district will need to register online and report to the school to provide required documents.

Bachelor's Degree and Interested In Teaching?
The Mississippi Teacher Residency Program includes a full scholarship including tuition and the job training may be available for students with 3.0 GPA on the last 60 hours of credit. Applicants must be willing to teach in the Picayune School District for three years following the residency.

Online Meal Prepayment System Available Now!
Picayune School District Food Services Department is utilizing a new online payment system, MySchoolBucks.com, to allow you to make deposits into your student school meal accounts. My School Bucks serves two facets--the ability to make online payments for school meals and the ability to view student transaction histories. You must create a new account in My School Bucks and add your student to the account.
All students in the Picayune School District shall possess the knowledge and skills necessary to make healthy choices that promote healthy lifestyles.
