Welcome to the Picayune School District!
We are now using an online platform called Active Applicant to manage incoming job applications. Because this is a new system for us, every applicant will need to create an account by pressing "LOGIN." Once the account is created, you can log in with the new credentials, click "PROFILE" to view your login/information, and begin applying to openings under "JOB SEARCH." Please check your account regularly for any offer letters that you may have to accept before moving forward in the hiring process. It is essential that you save your username and password immediately after creating. If you have any questions, help videos are listed below for every topic or call the central office and ask to speak to IT regarding your account.
NOTES: If you want to apply to more than one listing (see how-to videos), you can copy all information over, but you MUST RE-UPLOAD DOCUMENTS MANUALLY.
Substitutes must meet with a principal within the Picayune School District to get recommended for the position. Please call a school to schedule that.

NOTE: CERTIFIED TEACHER APPLICANTS
You will need SIX Teacher Recommendation Forms on your behalf.
All recommendations should be printed, filled out, and the person making the recommendation should mail it to the address below after you have submitted your online application.
